Imagine Dragons “It’s Time” – The Occidental Saloon Acoustic Performance

I heard about Imagine Dragons a few months ago when a few SpaceX employees I knew were claiming the song “Radioactive” as their unofficial anthem before their successful launch of the Dragon Capsule; which went on to dock with the ISS in late May.

Since then Imagine Dragons has become a household name with their music finding its way onto some of the NBC Olympic ads, and further fueled by the news that they will have their first full length album “Night Visions” releasing in September.

Below is a great video of them performing an “acoustic” version of “It’s Time” filmed by the Occidental Saloon, which is a performance music video production group based in Provo, Utah.

The Make Believe “Give It A Million” + Back Story

The Make Believe is an up and coming band based out of New Zealand. They popped up on my radar a few months back with their incredible cover of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful“. Admit it, you’ve caught yourself singing along to it when it comes on the radio! This video, of front men Tyler Vivian and Mike Lake, sitting on a futon on a Wednesday afternoon or something propelled them into the spotlight and helped them get a record deal within a few weeks of this video going viral.

Since then The Make Believe has released a single, “Give It A Million” and are currently in the works on a full length studio album. So get your boy-band-pants on and get ready to feel so satisfied and yet oh so guilty about their pop-punkiness in all it’s glory.
